Director, Design Makes Project
I’ve been passionate about construction and design since the late 90s, when I first started studying the field formally. After gaining hands-on experience in the industry from 2001, I joined my first architectural practice in 2005, building a foundation in practical design, processes, planning, and construction delivery.
At Design Makes Project, I work across architecture, interiors, and construction, guiding clients from initial ideas to completed spaces. Whether it’s a home, a business, or collaborating with other design professionals, I focus on solutions that are practical, thoughtful, and delivered with trusted specialists.
One of the most significant projects I’ve worked on spanned five years, delivering architectural interiors from initial bid and concept through to on-site completion, and was featured on Channel 4’s Britain’s Most Expensive Home. Projects like this have been particularly formative, reinforcing the importance of clarity, practicality, and problem-solving when challenges arise — no matter the budget. Some of my favorite projects, however, sadly remain on the drawing board!
Ultimately, my aim is to help clients feel confident throughout the process, turning their vision into spaces that work beautifully in the real world.
